Associate VP, Michael Baker International
Matt is MDOT’s Intelligent Transportation Systems Administrator. In this role, he is responsible for setting and implementing the strategic direction for the state’s ITS and Connected and Automated Vehicle programs, and managing the Department’s $30 million annual ITS budget. He also leads participates in a number of national connected and automated vehicle initiatives, through the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), and through the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHP). He is a member of the Transportation Research Board’s Standing Committee on Vehicle-Highway Automation. Matt received a degree in Civil Engineering from Penn State University.
