The Park boasts many attractions, including the Amphitheater Garden known for exhibiting Western Michigan music, a Windmill which supplies water and power to the Park, and the family-friendly Great Lakes Garden. Gerald R. Ford Museum

Did you know that there has only been one President to have grown up in Michigan? His name was Gerald R. Ford, and he was the 38 th President of the United States. This museum allows visitors to learn more about the lives of said President and his family, from his birth in 1913 until his death in late 2006, after which he was buried in Grand Rapids on the museum’s grounds.

Fish Ladder

A functional art piece which serves two purposes. The first being an alternate route for migrating fish to avoid the man-made rapids of the Grand River. The second one being an aesthetical pleasant landmark to the visitors and residents of the city. In the summer, you may be privy to a witnessing large fish making their way up the ladder.

Grand Rapids Public Museum

The Grand Rapids Public Museum is a great place to go if you have a few hours to burn. It is a family-friendly establishment, with interactive exhibits for visitors of all ages. Founded 1854, the museum has been a large attraction in the city for over a century and a half, and illustrates that passage of time with its exhibits.
